Past NASA missions of exploration that have visited the Jovian system (Voyagers 1 and 2, Galileo, Cassini and New Horizons), along with ground-based observations, have located over 150 active volcanoes on Io so far. Juno&#8217;s 13th science pass will be on July 16.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u6728\u661f\u63a2\u67fb\u6a5f\u30b8\u30e5\u30ce\u30fc\u306f2016\u5e747\u67084\u65e5\u306b\u6728\u661f\u3092\u5468\u56de\u3059\u308b\u8ecc\u9053\u306b\u5165\u3063\u3066\u304b\u3089\u7d04146\u767e\u4e07\u30de\u30a4\u30eb\uff082\u51043500\u4e07\u30ad\u30ed\u30e1\u30fc\u30c8\u30eb\uff09\u306e\u98db\u884c\u3092\u8a18\u9332\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002\u30b8\u30e5\u30ce\u30fc\u306e13\u56de\u76ee\u306e\u79d1\u5b66\u63a2\u67fb\u306f7\u670816\u65e5\u306b\u884c\u308f\u308c\u308b\u4e88\u5b9a\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Juno launched on Aug. 5, 2011, from Cape Canaveral, Florida. During its mission of exploration, Juno soars low over the planet&#8217;s cloud tops &#8212; as close as about 2,100 miles (3,400 kilometers). During these flybys, Juno is probing beneath the obscuring cloud cover of Jupiter and studying its auroras to learn more about the planet&#8217;s origins, structure, atmosphere and magnetosphere.<\/p>\n<p>JPL manages the Juno mission for the principal investigator, Scott Bolton, of Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio. The Juno mission is part of the New Frontiers Program managed by NASA&#8217;s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, for the Science Mission Directorate. The Italian Space Agency (ASI), contributed two instruments, a Ka-band frequency translator (KaT) and the Jovian Infrared Auroral Mapper (JIRAM). Lockheed Martin Space, Denver, built the spacecraft.
